Wine Blending Workshop

Join the team at City Winery to enjoy a wine blending workshop. Guests will learn the art of blending wines and techniques the winemaker employs and what they’re looking for to achieve the perfect taste and texture profile. Good for groups up to 25 people. Every guest will receive a custom bottle of their own wine to take away. Light snacks included. Available Edward St (every day), Fortitude Valley (on Sundays) or by appointment.

Gerler Wine Tasting & Lunch/Dinner

Seated in the Barrel Room, guests enjoy a 2 course shared dining experience paired with our tasting paddles, all whilst learning more about the winemaking process. If the winemaker is around make sure you say g’day and get a photo!

Wine And Food Pairing Experiences

Learn about how to pair food and wine like a guru! Hosted by one of our team, attendee’s will enjoy a four-course shared menu paired with matched wine. At each course our experienced team will explain what guests should be looking for in how the food works with the wine. A truly interactive dining experience.

Dry-Aged Beef Experiences

The epitome of a shared dining experience, join us for the Dry-Aged Beef experience. 1kg of dry-aged Killarney beef prepared over our firepit over the course of 24hrs. Served with coal-grilled seasonal seafood, clay-baked potatoes and roasted bone marrow. Suggested to serve four people (or two hungry people). Requires 48 hours notice, so please call ahead to book in.

Team Made Barrel of Wine

The ultimate team bonding experience. Your colleagues will participate in everything from picking grapes out in the vineyard (if desired), stomping on the fruit, manually pressing the grapes, through to bottling your company’s own wine. Your barrel of wine is matured at City Winery with a plaque with your company logo on it. The team will be invited in for blending workshops when your wine is close to bottling, the end result is approximately 400 bottles of your custom blend of wine. Note:

Conditions Apply. Bus costs for grape picking isn’t included, price is determined based on the number of guests partaking and the amount of wine that is to be made.

IN-OFFICE WINE TASTING

Can’t make it into the winery? We can bring the wines too you! Allow us to add a new dimension to your next board room lunch or after work drinks. Sessions can be tailored to the group, be it education focused, Friday afternoon staff drinks, or just a regular wine tasting as you would expect at the cellar door.
