Melissa is the Chief Operating Officer at Stone Group Lawyers and is responsible for the operations of the firm. She is an experienced executive with strong legal, commercial and financial management experience who specialises in company development and growth.

Melissa has come from a chief executive role in the resources sector and was responsible for building a small resources company into a strong vertically integrated producer of minerals. She was accountable for both growing the company organically and through acquisitions along with developing a successful suite of products through the company’s research and development program, ensuring flexibility in a demanding marketplace. Her previous executive roles in the professional services industry combined with her experience in the resources sector has encouraged her focus on a personable, customised approach to her role.

Through this, Melissa aims to develop the firm’s lawyers to be the best they can be so they can go above and beyond client expectations.  Her commercial and legal background will provide Stone Group Lawyers with a strong focus on clients and dedicated development of the lawyers at the firm.
