Join us for Melbourne Cup at The Left Bank on Tuesday 1st November 2022 – our favourite event to start the party season!
It’s a day to dress to impress, drink prosecco, nibble on delicious canapes, watch the race for a few minutes and simply have a fun time dancing to the best tunes
Choose to join our free GARDEN PARTY in the beer garden or get tickets to our COCKTAIL PARTY upstairs – either way you’ll be able to watch the race live and enjoy a range of music and entertainment.
The venue will be open from 10am. Smart Dress Code applies all day!
GARDEN PARTY
Our Garden Party kicks off in the Beer Garden at 10am, with our bars ready to serve bubbles and pour beers! Entry is free, so first in best dressed!
Local Comedian Cameron McLaren will be hosting and entertaining you on stage this year.
Five piece live band FLYTE will be getting you in the mood to dance, playing the best tunes throughout the day – plus DJ Double Dee and our Resident DJ TBA Dam on the decks!
Dress Hire Label Ignite the Night will add some glamour to the party by hosting the fashion parade – discover some of the amazing race and summer dresses that are available this season. Thank you to Bobbies Hair, who is supporting the parade by styling all beautiful models for the show!
We’re also hosting a best dressed competition – so make sure to dress to impress to take home some prizes!
COCKTAIL PARTY

Our upstairs Cocktail Party includes a 3-hour food and beverage package from 11am – 2pm.
Grab a glass of Yarra Burn Rose Prosecco on arrival, pose for a photo with your friends and then enjoy the service on the Mezzanine and in the River Bar.
A range of canapes will be served, plus your choice of (rose) prosecco, wine, beer, cider, soft drink for the duration of the party.
Start the dance floor to tunes by DJ Handsome Chad, take a happy snap in our Adept photo booth on the balcony or be amazed by the tricks that roaming magician James Diamond has up his sleeves.
Every guest will also receive a TAB Mystery Bet ticket – so you might go home as winner. The race will be shown live and loud in both areas.
The host of this year’s fashion parade, Ignite the Night, is offering all ticket holders to hire any cocktail/race dress for only $60 for the event. Be kind to your wallet and the environment and hire your outfit this year!
