It’s time to take advantage of her last night of maidenhood. Ditch the peen paraphernalia and keep it classy, or fly the coop for a night and don all the paraphernalia you please – no judgment here.
What says hen’s party more than a night out at a cocktail bar? That’s right, absolutely nothing. So assemble the bride tribe, dress up to the nines, and treat the bride-to-be with a night of fancy cocktails, delicious canapes and plenty of good times. And look, if you have to whip out the ‘bride-to-be’ and ‘bridesmaid’ sashes, go for it. But as far as new-age hen’s parties go, we think flying under the radar and having a night out with the girls is a much better way to celebrate.
For a formal affair that’s a little less ‘hen’s’ but way more party, book a table at the bride-to-be’s favourite restaurant for a night of fine dining and plenty of pre-wedding chatter. And to make the night extra special, why not speak to the restaurant staff and arrange a beautiful centrepiece for the table or a special dessert for later in the night. Not only is a restaurant an excellent hen’s party venue option, but it’s also a surefire way to ensure everyone has an incredible night. Good food, plenty of booze and your favourite group of women – there’s nothing better!
Now, let’s say you were going to go with the last point, but you’ve extended the guest list to more than just the bridal party? Never fear. Depending on the restaurant you choose, they may have a private dining room available which would be the perfect way to accomodate a larger group. Enjoy a night of excellent food and drinks in the privacy of your own dining room – so you can engage in all the typical hen’s party shenanigans away from the public eye. It’s a win win for everyone, really.
